Review–E.L.F. Tinted Moisturizer in Rosey Beige

Tinted moisturizers are something I always yearned for, but never got a chance to use one myself. Foundation & Moisturizer in one – its like a blessing for all those girls like me who are always running out of time when getting ready. Hehe! To My rescue, ELF cosmetics introduced their tinted moisturizers in Pakistan. Let me review one of them for you and tell you my comments about this wonderful product.

The Packaging:

The packaging is quite nice. It’s a card backed transparent pack in which the tinted moisturizer is set up. The tube has a pointed nozzle which allows you to take out only as much of the tinted mo as required. The tube is transparent (I think – mine is quite new so not very sure though) to show you the color inside. it’s a small tube which is very easy to carry in ur bag and even your wallet.

The Pricing:

The pricing, yet again is very impressive, it costs 170 PKR only. I purchased it online from their website. I am not sure if these products are available in the market or not however, I just learnt that Just4girls.pk also sell their products now. I have ordered from the ELF Cosmetics Pakistan website two times and I am really happy with all the products I ordered. However, the shipping usually takes about 2 weeks which is something they need to improve. I am now planning to order ELF products from Just4girls.pk to see how their shipping service is, because Just4girls.pk usually deliver order on time as per my experience.

The Results:

The results are very good. It gives your face a smooth and even finish which lasts for the whole day (7-8 hours). Just set it up with a good face powder and you are good to go. It is SPF 15 so you can even use it instead of sun block on “not too sunny” days. It does not require a lot of amount to be applied and contains both the goodness of a moisturizer and the radiance of foundation. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone out there especially because of its good results and wonderful cost benefit ratio. Your skin looks fresh and even toned after you apply it. Though you can apply face powder after this tinted moisturizer application but even if you don’t, the skin looks good enough. I will definitely buy this product again.

Hey there, cleansing is one of our most important aspects of daily beauty regime. If you girls do not cleanse your skin every night before sleeping, I personally think you are doing really bad to your skin. Cleansing removes dirt, dead cells and effects of pollution on your skin, so it should be a part of your daily health and beauty routine.

Today I am going to review “Garnier Skin Naturals Essentials Grape Water Makeup Remover Milk”. I have used many cleansers throughout my life and it was just a chance I picked up this one when I was switching from Prevense Cleanser. I have never been a real fan of the company Garnier, as the Garnier skin naturals Skin lightening cream didn’t do anything good for me. However, I thank my lucky stars that I DID try this product from Garnier.

The Packaging:

The packaging is almost transparent grapewhite milky bottle which shows you how much of the cleanser you have consumed. The cleanser itself is white in color and as the name suggests its more of cleansing milk sort of a lotion.

The Pricing:

The price of this bottle is PKR 450 and you can get it from any cosmetic and medical store. I bought mine first from D. Watson and now I can find it almost in any big departmental store and chemist shop.

The Results:

The results of this product have simply amazed me like no other cleanser. I didn’t expect this one to work so well. It removes water proof eye makeup in just one swipe, its so mild on the skin and on the eyes that I don’t even feel I m putting something in my eyes. I normally apply it on a cotton round or swab and then use the cotton swab to cleanse my skin and eyes. Normally it takes two to three cotton rounds to cleanse my skin thoroughly when I have light makeup on. By far this is one of the best cleansers I have ever tried and since then I have been using it continuously. this is the cleanser which I have used the most in my life and I am very happy with this product and its results. After cleansing it leaves your skin refreshed, cool and cleansed and you feel a visible difference on your skin if you continue using it. The cost benefit ratio is great and I would definitely recommend it to all of you out there.

Review–Luscious Diamond Finish Nail Lacquer in No. 7–Peach Fuzz

I love nail colors of all kinds. Today I am going to review Luscious nail color in No. 7 – Peach Fuzz

The Packaging:

Its packaged in a beautiful clear bottle which shows the nail color and a stylish black top which has a big enough brush to cover your nail with nail polish in one to two good swipes. The bottle is bigger than many other nail polishes from other brands and personally I think it’s a bit stronger also (didn’t test it by throwing it on the floor but it just looks more exquisite ). The nail color looks very classy from inside the bottle and the quality is very flowy yet thick enough to stay put on the nails

The Pricing:

It can be bought from any big cosmetic store in Rawalpindi/Islamabad. I purchased it online from their website here for PKR 225 only. They ship nationwide and that too for free . I think with the size of the bottle and its quality the value for money is good.

The Results:

Results are very good when you consider the beautiful sheen in your nails after applying the nail color. It has a pearly effect and gives your nails a light glossy effect. It is a peachy or coral shade and looks amazing on your fingers. However I don’t think if you are looking for a nude shade this is a right choice for you. It stays non chipped for sometime, in my pictures I have it on for 2 days (without any base coat or top coat). Overall I consider it a good shade and nice addition to my collection.

I am one of the people who are really not much into lip glosses, I personally prefer lipsticks and lip liners which are matte finished. But this offer from Al jannat Mall Commercial Market Rawalpindi persuaded me to purchase Loreal lip glosses and try them out. The offer said you can buy 3 lip glosses in the price of 1. It was my first experience with Loreal lip glosses, though I had heard a lot of praise for them but because of my low interest in lip glosses I never thought to try them out.

Not only did I buy Loreal lip glosses as a result of this wonderful offer, but I actually liked them so much that I have decided to write a review on one of them.

So, today I am going to review Loreal Paris Glam Shine Gloss Brilliance Lip Gloss in 106 – Forever Young; okay girls so lets get started …

The Packaging:

The lip gloss is packaged in a beautiful clear jar with a silver cap. The color of the lip gloss shows through the transparent jar and the brush of the lip gloss is big enough to color your lips in one swipe.

The Pricing:

Since I got this one as a result of a promotional offer, I got three lip glosses for 1200 PKR. The actual price of the lip gloss ranges from 1200 – 1500 PKR though.

The Results:

The results are pretty good, and I must say I am really impressed by this lip gloss range. They claim that the lip gloss stays on for 6 hours and believe me it actually does. Even at the end of the day I have some bits of traces of its glitter on my lips and its staying power is super. it is somewhat a transparent gloss and you can use it above any of your lipsticks too. it’s a soft pink shimmery color which brings vibrance to your face all of a sudden and freshens up your whole look. In the pictures I have shared below I have used it on my nude lips, please excuse the skin on my lip corners as I suffered from a lip allergy sometime back and my skin got irritated due to that.

In the following picture I am using it over a lipstick,

The Good Things:

Lasting power is super
Looks good both on nude lips and over a lipstick
the finish is ultra glossy

The Bad Things:

A bit pricey as compared to the rest of the lip glosses
sometimes tends to be sticky when u apply too much of it

Review–Golden Rose Paris Nail Lacquer In 76–CLEAR SEA

I am a huge fan of nail colors and keep on trying different colors from many brands. I have many colors from Golden Rose and I must say they have a huge color range, normally I get every color I m trying to find in Golden Rose.

So, lets get started

The Packaging:

The nail color is in a beautiful eiffel tower shaped bottle (implies to the name Golden Rose PARIS). the container is obviously clear to show the nail color inside. The nail color brush is also good enough to apply nail color in two to three good swipes (depending on the color you want)

The Pricing:

Golden Rose PARIS nail colors are priced within the range of 125-150 PKR. I consider it a good value for money.

The Results:

I love the color how it looks on the nails. It’s a bit transparent on the first coat but if you want to darken it you can increase the number of coats for it. In the picture I have shared I have applied 3 coats of the nail polish. It has a bit of light blue glitter crystals which shimmer in lights and make this nail color very exquisite. I have a few dresses in the grape green range and this nail color goes very well with all of them. Overall it’s a good purchase and I am satisfied from it. But since this color is somewhat unique; you might not like it if there is no matching dress or something to go with it.

The Good Things:

Glossy finish
Bit of blue crystal glitter brings extra sheen to your nails
Non chipped nails even after days of use (in the picture I have this nail color on for 3 days – without a top coat)

The Bad Things:

Color is very unique and you might not consider it one for your collection
You need to apply a few coats to get the color visible, the first coat is quite transparent and does not bring out the green shade of the nail polish

Review–“PURE” 3 in 1 Cleansing wipes

Today I am going to review “Pure 3 in 1 makeup cleansing wipes”. Cleansing wipes are a great thing in my opinion. Sometimes you are not really free to grab a cotton swab and do your complete cleansing routine, this is where cleansing wipes come into use. Just take a cleansing wipe and do quick cleansing – remove your makeup and you are done. This is good for lazy days when you are not in the mood of following the whole cleansing process or when you don’t have enough time.

However, you still need to choose the right type of cleansing wipes for yourself, I have tried Loreal, Clearasil, and some other brands but seriously by far the best cleansing wipes I have used are “Pure”. These are less expensive than many other leading brands and personally I have experienced the best results with these instead of any other brand.

The Packaging:

Pure cleansing wipes come in different varieties; 3-in-1 cleansing wipes, exfoliating wipes, deep cleansing are some of them. I have used deep cleansing and 3 in 1 and found them to be wonderful for my skin. It is packaged in a plastic packet with a sticker opening to take out a wipe at the time of use. Its quite handy and easy to carry in bag. I personally carry this in my hand bag everyday.

The Pricing:

I would say these are the most inexpensive and result oriented wipes I have ever used. there are 25 cleansing wipes in a pack and it costs 125 PKR. I have used other expensive cleansing wipes but seriously havent been much satisfied with their results.

The Results:

The results are very good. It’s a very light cleansing solution which is used in these wipes yet it is very powerful. It cleanses waterproof mascara also very easily and doesn’t irritate the eyes as well. The wipe cloth is also very soft and really feels good on the skin. My skin feels very refreshed after using these wipes. Usually one wipe is enough to clean your daily makeup but on occasions when you have heavy makeup on you might need to use more than one of them. Overall it’s a very good purchase and I always prefer to buy Pure cleansing wipes instead of all the big brands out there.

The Good Things:

Very light and refreshing on the face
Quick makeup cleanser
Also removes water proof makeup easily and quickly
Very well priced

The Bad Things:

I don’t dislike anything about these wipes …

Review–Shopping experience with Fireflies

Online shopping is always fun and easy; however while shopping online there is a risk always when you are trying out new distributors and sellers. I usually try the sellers out by ordering small items and test their service.

Just out of curiosity and after reviewing a huge range of products at affordable prices, I decided to order something from Fireflies.

Here was the product I ordered, a beautiful princess necklace (18 inches long in PINK) alongwith another product; a ring (which I might review later)

The ordering process was fun and easy, I just had to fill out a form on their page, provide the links of products to order and in a few hours I received reply from the owner of the page “Ayesha Abdullah”. The email listed details about the complete bill and modes of payment available. The modes of payment supported include bank transfer and Easy Paisa. I made the payment using Online bank transfer and I received my order the next day . That’s it. No further delay or processing. The products I ordered were wrapped in clear plastic and were tied with small beautiful ribbons with Fireflies tag on them.

I purchased this necklace for a mere price of PKR 300. The delivery charges were PKR 150. Overall it was a wonderful experience purchasing from Fireflies and I will love to do this again.

Review–Dazz Matazz Nail Polish

I am a huge nail color fan and keep on trying many different nail colors from all the companies I find around.
Here I will be reviewing Daz Matazz nail polish in yellow. I have used many yellow colored nail polishes from Golden Rose, Sweet Touch but this is one I like the most amongst all the others. The reason is its texture and color which are thoroughly deep. The nail polish has a smooth and satiny texture when it has been applied to the nails.

The Packaging:

The nail polish comes in a small round bottle of 15 ml which is filled with the nail polish liquid. The nail color is liquidy but not so runny when you apply it. The brush is also good enough to apply the nail polish properly in one to two swipes.

The Pricing:

I bought this almost two weeks back so I don’t exactly remember the price but I am quite sure it was below 200 PKR from D. Watson. Considering its results and smooth satiny texture I consider it a very good value for money.

The Results:

I have always been looking for a yellow colored nail polish which is not shiny or glittery. I used a Golden Rose nail color in yellow some years back which was a bit lighter than this one and it used to serve my purpose. However, it had a problem that it used to take a very long time drying. I didn’t get the same color in Golden Rose again and since then I am looking for a perfect yellow nail color. Thanks to Dazz Matazz I have found it. It dries quite quickly. The color you will see in my pictures is after two coats of the nail color. The first coat was a bit transparent and to make it opaque I had to apply a second coat after the first one dried. Regarding questions whether I will buy this one again or not; I will definitely buy this color once again.

The Good Things:

Smooth texture
You will like it if you are looking for a matte finish yellow color
Quick drying time
Non chipped even after 3-4 days of application – Without any top coat applied

The Bad Things:

Would not be your choice if you want a pearly finish – it’s a matte finish product

Review–Loreal true match minerals face powder

I have been listening to all this buzz about mineral makeup everywhere so I badly wanted to try one myself … I chose to try Loreal True Match Minerals face powder which says “foundation like coverage”. It is SPF15 and comes in different shades from which you can choose the one closest to your skin.

The packaging:

The packaging of the Loreal True Match Minerals face powder is one of the impressive bits about it. I personally bought it due to the beautiful packaging of the face powder. It comes in a jar which has a screwable cap with a brush which is headed by a transparent cap.

The Pricing:

I got this face powder for PKR 1200 from D. Watson. However I have seen this face powder being sold at upto a price of Rs. 2400 as well.

The Results:

Well, the results of this product are pretty good, they say that it is a foundation like coverage which is true to some extent but if you have some dark spots or pimple marks on your face you definitely need a proper foundation before this one. Sometimes I feel it makes my face too cakey which shows up in laughter lines etc. The key to using this face powder is to keep it to a minimum, the more powder you apply to your face, the more cakey your face will become. I am somewhat satisfied from this product but I personally do not consider it a good value for money. The brush provided with the packaging is just okay and I would prefer using another powder brush if I can. The thing I basically dislike the most in this face powder is that I find the application very messy … i.e. I have to turn the box to release some of the powder on the holed surface and then unscrew the box to dip the brush into the powder and then I can apply. I know it might not be a big deal for many of you out there but personally this is one thing about this product that puts me off.

The Good things:

It adds a matte finish to your face
it somewhat complies to the statement “foundation like coverage”
It has a brush and powder in one so you don’t have to carry multiple things
It gives your face an even skin tone

The Bad things:

Messy way of application
Brush provided in the packaging is not too good for application
A bit much of the product makes your face too cakey
I personally don’t think it’s a good value for money

General Tips

Apply a mixture of equal amounts of lemon juice and honey on the face and whole body. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash off.
Apply a mixture of equal amounts of lemon and cucumber juice on the face and whole body. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash off. If your skin is dry, use honey and lemon juice.
First scrub your face with cucumber slices and then apply cucumber juice (with skin on cucumber) to your face, leave it there overnight and wash in the morning.
Apply a gram flour (besan) and turmeric or haldi paste on face and neck. After sometime when it dries, scrub it off gently. This would gradually reduce body hair over a period of time.
For 15 days, apply a paste of gram flour (besan), milk (2 teaspoon) and lime juice(3-4 drops) on face and neck for 15 minutes and wash with water. You complexion should improve. Repeat every 2 weeks.
Apply yogurt to the face.

Protein mask:
Make a paste of 1 tablespoon urad dal (black gram dal)and 4 almonds soaked in water overnight. Apply it your face and neck and wash it off after half an hour. It will nourish your skin and also bleach it.
Make a paste of 4 almonds soaked in milk overnight. Apply it your face and neck before going to bed. Wash with cold water in the morning. Repeat daily for 15 days. It will make your skin fair.
Fair look, oily skin:
Apply a mixture of equal amounts of lemon and cucumber juice on the face and whole body. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash off.
Apply cucumber pulp with yogurt on your face and neck for 20 minutes and then wash with cold water.
Make a paste by mixing papaya, honey, milk, and milk powder. Apply on face and leave for a few minutes and wash, your face will look fairer.
Apply egg white to your face.
Make a paste of honey, milk, yogurt, and ground sesame seeds in equal proportions and apply on face and whole body.
Mix 4 parts milk, 1 part honey, and 2 part lemon juice and apply the mixture on the tanned areas for 15 minutes. Wash with cold water when dry. This acts as a bleach.
Fair look, dry skin:
Apply a mixture of equal amounts of cucumber juice and honey on the face and whole body. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash off.
Dark hands: To remove a tan from the hands, apply a paste of sunflower oil, lemon juice and sugar for 15-20 minutes and then wash with cold water.
Dark feet: Soak feet in water containing some lemon juice for 10-15 minutes.
Dark ankles & elbow: Soak in water containing some lemon juice for 10-15 minutes.
Dark neck: Apply a mixture of lemon and cucumber juice (equal amount) with 1/8 teaspoon of turmeric powder. Leave for 20 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.
Dark lips: Many men and women complain that their lips used to be pink but they have become dark or black.

For Darker Lips

To get natural pink lips apply beetroot juice before bed.
Massage your lips with lemon juice, to avoid the black colour of lips.
Apply mint juice or coriander leaf juice everyday to get rosy and smooth lips.
Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Grind rose petals and apply on lips to get smooth pink lips.
Exfoliate your lips once a week. Wet a soft toothbrush and gently brush your lips with a circular motion.
Black lips have been caused by drinking too much tea, coffee or by smoking, so you try avoid this.
Apply a mixture of lemon and glycerine to your lips every night, before turning in. Leave it on overnight and wash it off in the morning. This should help lighten your lips.
Grate raw coconut and squeeze milk out of it.apply this milk on your lips.
Eat plenty of raw cucumber and carrot.it smoothen your lips and glowing your skin.

Lemon is one of the most well known and effective ways of bleaching your skin. You can use the juice of a freshly squeezed lemon and apply this on your lips. The best thing about lemon juice is that it can be kept on overnight. Almond oil is another such product. It works very well overnight and helps lighten the dark colored skin on your lips. You can mix a few drops of lemon juice to the almond oil and then apply on your lips. Glycerin can also be applied on dark lips, in order to lighten dark lip color. You can mix a few drops of honey to the glycerin and then apply on the lips.

* Stick to whole wheat instead of white breads / pastas etc.
* Always try to incorporate more veggies in your meals.
* have minimum 2 fruits a day . Mango. pineapple , grapes and bananas should not be taken frequently while trying to lose weight.

Apply a paste of fresh ground mint leaves and leave it for about 20 minutes. Wash with cold water, continue for 15 days.

Apply a mixture of grated tomato with 2-3 drops of lime juice on the face. Leave it for 20 minutes before washing off. Do this twice a day for 15-20 days for best results.

High Point: Gather all the hair to the back of the head and make a high ponytail. Take 3 nets and pin it on the ponytail. Divide the ponytail into 3 sections. Fold the first section into two layers and cover the hair with the net. Roll the hair with two fingers and place it on top of the ponytail and secure with a pin inside. Repeat the same with the other 2 sections of the hair and secure the rolls. Secure the rolls above the ponytail with pins.

Beehive:Gather all the hair at the back of your head. Hold all the hair in one hand and twist until it doubles back on itself. Secure by placing a pin, just catching the hair centrally, leaving out the sides. Fan out the ends by separating the hair into fluffy loose curls, and pin them as you want.

French Connection: Part the hair sideways at the front. Comb back a section of the hari from the crown and braid it. Secure with an elastic band. Draw all the remaining hair to the back of your head and wrap it around one hand, from right to left. Roll the hair inwards, so that the end is tucked in smoothly. Begining at the bottom of the roll, secure it with pins. Fold the braided hair into two (based on hair length) and place it over the pin area, and secure onto the top of the roll using a pin.

Curly Wurly: Part the hair in the centre, from the forehead to the middle of the crown. Smoothen out the hair at the back and secure into a ponytail with an elastic band. For the hair in front, take small sections (about 1 inch) from the hairline to the crown, twist 3 or 4 turns and secure it with a pin over the ponytail. Divide off a small section of the hair from the ponytail. Holding the end, twist the hair until it rolls back on itself to form a coil. Position the coil in a loop and secure using hairpins. Continue in this manner, till all the hair can be coiled.

Queen of Braids: Gather a portion of hair at your temple and divide into 3 equal parts. Braid the first 2 turns the normal way. Take a few strands of loose hair from the side of the head and add to the part you are braiding. Continue to take up loose hair and weave into a braid gathering strands alternately from each side. Entwine the parts as you go along. Stop when it reaches the nape of your neck. Repeat the same steps on the other side of your face. Make a simple plait using the two side braids and the loose hair at the centre. Continue braiding till complete.

Honey Bun: Part the hair in the centre in a zigzag style from the forehead to the middle of the crown and then make a high ponytail at the back. Take approximately one third of the hair, from the top of the ponytail, braid till the end, and them secure with an elastic band. Gather the remaining hair of the ponytail and twist it, making sure all loose ends are tucked in. Bring the hair up and around, pinning it underneath to form a bun. Wrap the braid around the bun and secure the ends with a pin underneath. Now, gather the hair in the front and tuck it under the bun at the back, for a perfect finish.

Low Behold!: Part the hair at the centre, from hairline to the middle of the crown. Make a braid on both sides till the ear and secure it. Gather the rest of the hair into a low ponytail at the back. Roll the haif from underneath using two fingers and forma a low bun. Use a net to secure bun in place. Use almond oil to massage your hair one day before washing your hair. Frequently massaging your hair with almond oil will help you to get silky and soft hair. Massaging is good for improving blood circulation and getting stronger hair.
Apply paste made out of the leaves of hibiscus plant on your hair. Let it stay for 10-20 minutes and then wash your hair to get best results

For trouble-prone skin, mix oatmeal with water to form a paste.

For normal to oily skin, use an egg white.

For dry skin, use an egg yolk.

In all cases, spread mixture on face and allow to dry. Rinse thoroughly with cool water.

For oily skin, witch hazel makes an inexpensive toner.

For dry skin, you may want to add moisturizer while skin is still damp.

For dry skin, try:

an egg yolk mixed with olive oil and warmed honey

sour cream

plain olive oil

avocado

For oily skin:

dissolve a teaspoon of baking yeast in a small amount of warm milk, wait until foamy, then apply (best done in the bath tub);

puree flesh of a tomato and mix with some potato flour to make a paste;

cucumber (it will whiten your skin);

beaten egg whites with a few drops of lemon juice (great for getting rid of blackheads);

carrots (but don't use this one more than about every other week because it can overdry your skin). This one will make you look tanned.

Many fruits and vegetables can also be used to good effect. Anything acidic (lemon, strawberries, etc) will tend to whiten and refresh your skin, but you need to be careful if your skin is dry.

In general, don't apply masks more often than about twice a week, and try to vary the ingredients

For Normal/combination skin mix one egg and 1/2 cup cooked instant oatmeal and a teaspoon olive oil until smooth. Spread on your face and leave 15 min then rinse.

For dry skin, mix one egg yolk, one teaspoon honey and a teaspoon olive oil and some vitamin E oil if you have it. Smooth on and leave on for 15 min. , rinse in lukewarm water and pat dry. If your skin is a bit dry you can put a dab or two of either olive oil, or any other light oil, on your moist skin after washing or a mask and your face is set without the thousandz some people spend for the same look.

Turmeric Facial Mask

This is the traditional mask, also used for a bride, seven days in advance of marriage.
Take in a cup half a cup of besan (gram flour), 2 tsp of turmeric powder, 2 tsp of sandal wood powder, 2 tsp of ghee or almond oil, add some water to make a paste. Apply to face and whole body and leave for 5-10 minutes. Rub with pressure with both palms and fingers to remove all the paste.

Honey Facial Mask

Rinse your face with warm water to open up the pores. Apply honey and leave for half an hour. Rinse with warm water, then use cold water to close the pores. Rinse with warm water, then use cold water to close the pores

Dry Skin Mask

Mix 1 tsp. of butter in 1 teaspoon of water. Apply it thoroughly into all the dry areas and leave for 15 - 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water,

Squeeze half a lemon and mix the juice with one beaten egg white. Apply on your face and leave for overnight. Wash your face with warm water.

Cucumber Facial

Use this facial to soothe and cleanse the skin. Some say cucumbers with lemon juice ease freckles. This recipe is certainly astringent. Cukes also contain a hormone thought to work against wrinkles. For best effect, apply after a shower or facial steaming. Be sure the skin is clean before you apply the mask.

mixing lemon in curd or sum onion juice in curd also helps........

only onion juice also helps....

mix honey n lemon n then apply...... honey provides moisture n lemon removes the dandruff
if u mix sum banana in honey+lemon, u can use it as a hair pack
juz add 2 tsp of vinegar in 1 litre water n rinse ur hair with this mix after washing...
do this only once a month...
or do it 2 times a week if u have severe dandruff
common method 2 remove hair builders is....
baking soda....
sprinkle sum baking soda on ur scalp...
juz massage it gently with ur finger tips for 2-3 mins...
then wash off with water...
this one is good for oily scalp n hair...
coz this makes hair a bit dry
take 100 ml of sweet almond oil.

add
20 drops lavender essential oil
10 drops cedarwood essential oil
10 drops Geranium essential oil
5 drops tea tree oil essential oil
5 drops bergamot essential oil

apply once a day, keep for an hour or two n then wash off.
i hope u see a difference in a week or 10 days
precaution:
DO NOT GO OUT IN SUN, wen its applied. bergamot comes under photo toxics.

if it irritates u, or doesnt feel comfortable, please discontinue the use, n wash off.

to wash it off make sure to use cold water, do not use hot water. n follow with some aloe vera gel to sooth the scalp.
in some cases listerine helps, becuz it has microbe killing properties.

but it wud help only if ur dandruff is fungal.
if the dandruff is caused due to other reasons, then it wont show any results.

method: shampoo ur hair, wash with water..take some listerine, rub in the scalp n roots. keep for 5-10 minuts. pour lot of water to rinse well. u can follow with a conditioner

Slice okra (lady's finger) horizontally and boil. Let the brew become slimy as much as possible. Let it cool and add 5-6 drops of lemon. Use this liquid to wash your hair for your last rinse. Your hair will look youthful and have a natural and noticeable gloss to it.

Add a pintch off turmeric powder to alov-vera. Apply it on face and neck And remove with cold water after 20 mins.
Add a tea-spoon of turmeric power to some milk (withut cream)deep some cotton balls (6 appx.) in itKeep it in fridgeclean your face with it every morning
2 spoon besan, 1 tea spoon chandan (sandalwood powder), 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder and mink or rose water (whatever you perfer)apply it for 20 mins
Mix two teaspoons of sandalwood powder and two teaspoons of water to obtain a smooth paste. Apply to your face, avoiding the eye and lip area. Let the mask dry (about 15-20 minutes). Rinse with warm water, using fingertips to gently loosen the mask. Do not scrub skin while removing - especially if you have acne - as it will aggravate troubled spots. Once the mask is removed, splash face with cold water to tighten pores. Your skin will be left feeling soft, smooth and refreshed.
Then clean ur face with face wash or cleansing milk. Pat dry. Take steam for 5mins or so. Now vigorously apply honey over ur face and neck. Keep it for 15 minutes only. Now wash off with cold water.
Crush a handful of strawberries and mix well with 1 teaspoon honey. Apply to face and let set for about 15 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
Mix 1 1/2 teaspoons honey, the juice from 1/2 of a lemon, and 1 small carton plain yogurt. Stir in 1 whipped egg white. Apply to face and let set about 15 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.
Puree 1/2 peeled, sliced cucumber in a blender or food processor and add 1 tablespoon yogurt. Apply to face and let set about 20 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp wash cloth.

This mask is suitable for all types of skin, particularly if they feel tired and look sluggish or spotty. If the skin is very dry add more oil, and if very oily leave it out. The yogurt cleanses the skin thoroughly and fruits juices provide vitamins and minerals
Saffron Masque
Ingredients:
Almonds
Saffron
Sandalwood
Orange peel
Neem
Red split lentils( laal daal / daal Masoor)
Rose, Papaya or Aloe Vera for extra potency
Method of use:
Blend all the above given ingredients nicely. Take about 1/2 tsp. (or as required) of blended paste and add a few drops of water (preferably rose water) to make a thick paste. For dry skins, milk may be used as an alternative to water.
After cleansing your face, apply with brush (or fingers) in upward and outward direction over face and neck, avoiding the eyes.
Let the masque dry.
Apply water to make the masque damp and rub it gently in small circular motion for about a minute.
Wash off and pat dry. You may apply moisturizer if required
FACE POLISH/SKIN POLISH

Ingredients
Honey 1 tea spoon
Dry Milk 1 tea spoon
Baisin 1 tea spoon
Haldi a pinch
Lemon juice ½ tea spoon

Method
If you have dry skin, mix the paste with glycerin. If oily skin, mix with rose water. Apply on face and neck for 10- 15 minutes and then wash off.
WHITENING MASK

Ingredients
Ground Almond with skin 1 tea spoon
Jaw ka Atta 1 tea spoon
Almond oil ¼ tea spoon
Rose water as required to make a paste
Khash Khash 1 tea spoon

Method
Mix all ingredients and make paste using rose water. Keep for a few minutes then take off while rubbing gently.
WHITENING LOTION

Turmeric powder a pinch
Cucumber juice 1 tea spoon
Clay powder as required to make a paste
Almond oil as required for massaging

Method
To make cucumber juice, take cucumber and grind with little water. Mix turmeric powder and cucumber juice, if you suffer from acne then add clay powder. Apply to face and neck. Wipe out and then massage with almond oil.

Unwanted Hair

Make a paste of egg white, corn flour, and sugar and apply on area, let it dry and after it has been dried, pull the transparent layer formed by the paste against the direction of hair
After threading, waxing or any other way of hair removal, apply alum on the area, u can either take alum powder and mix it with water, use cotton to apply on the skin. You can also directly wet a piece of alum (phitkari) and rub it on the area. It weakens hair roots so please avoid its touching with areas like ur eye brows and eyelashes etc.
Take a tablespoon of sugar and wet it with lemon juice, use it on the area from where you have removed the hair (at least 24 hours gap should be taken i.e. if u have threaded, waxed or epilated today, apply this paste the next day). Apply on the area and gently exfoliate through the skin, continue circular motion on the skin until the paste gets all sticky...continue for 15 mins and wash off.
If your scrub your areas of the body with basin+milk, which are to be waxed before waxing really makes your skin glow.
